Days, weeks, months go by and the woman feels more and more alone and abandoned. A photo is the only memory she keeps of her man. Routine takes over her life and with it, sadness. No one comes to her island. The only solution is to overcome the loss and keep on living. And perhaps making this hard decision will be what allows her to find someone new to share her life with. She hides her husband’s photo and goes back to the beach. The war is at its peak but a war plane manages to escape. A paratrooper manages to reach land and the woman meets him face to face. She offers him food. Someone has come.
