India. 2025. 20 min
Mol follows Prakash, a young migrant worker who arrives in Surat, the sprawling textile hub of India. Driven by the hope of supporting his family back home. As he enters the city’s relentless power loom industry alongside his uncle, he is gradually exposed to the brutal realities of labour exploitation. Confronted with loss and systemic indiference,
Prakash’s innocence slowly gives way to a cold emotional detachment.
DHAIRYA ZAVERI
Dhairya Zaveri is a filmmaker and London Film School graduate who believes in learning by doing. He built his foundation on set, assisting on features and documentaries before stepping behind the camera himself. Rather than picking one specialty, Dhairya has worked across writing, directing, cinematography, and editing to understand how every part of a film actually works.
He is drawn to the honesty of documentary and drama, focusing on the small, real details of how people behave. For him, the goal of a director is simple: to help an audience truly step into a character’s world. He’s driven by the idea that filmmaking is a way to see new places and try to understand the world through someone else’s eyes.
