Karthik, a 25-year-old corporate employee, wants to attend his grandmother’s 80th birthday party on the other side of Mumbai. However, he becomes embroiled in a perilous mission to rescue his best friend Ankit, who’s been trapped by the ruthless Shetty Anna. As he navigates this chaos, Karthik encounters intense action, all while racing against time.

PUJIT KALASH

Pujit Kalash is a Mumbai-based director and producer and co-founder of Cloudy Hill Films. His work is rooted in action-driven narratives that combine striking visual language with emotional depth, anchored in a character-first approach.
He began his journey with a BA in Film Art from Mumbai University and went on to work as an Assistant Director on Firebrand (2019), directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Aruna Raje and later acquired by Netflix. This experience led him to pursue a Master’s in Filmmaking at the London Film School, where he directed and produced multiple short films, developing a hands-on understanding of the craft across disciplines.
His latest short film, Matter, a genre piece set in Mumbai and co-produced with the London Film School, has been nominated at multiple Academy-qualifying festivals, including the 32nd Austin Film Festival, and received a Special Mention Jury Award at the Jaipur International Film Festival.
