Ash Valley: Janyl is about Janyl who investigates strange behavior in livestock near a large oil rig. Something feels wrong, but her superior asks her to stay out of the investigation for her own safety.

Shu Zhu has created works that have been showcased at prestigious festivals and institutions around the world, such as the Telluride Film Festival, the National Museum of Art in Mexico, and the National Film Archive of India. His works include shorts The Creep (2016), Border (2020), and Moth (2019).
