A couple arrives unannounced to visit their adult son, who is celebrating his birthday. However, upon arriving home and not finding their son, the parents discover a tied-up, exhausted hostage. Now they face a dilemma: whom to save – the unknown victim or their beloved son, who is a maniac.

Ekaterina Ganzhela (1986) From childhood, various stories are born in my head. I live through every event, every emotion with my characters. I have always dreamt of becoming a director and bringing these stories to the big screen. But… Initially, I worked as a journalist in my hometown of Rostov, then moved on to develop businesses and lead people. Four years ago, I took the first step towards my dream – I received education as a screenwriter. However, I soon realized that it wasn’t enough for me. And eight months ago, I enrolled in the “Free Cinema” film school on the directing faculty. Every week, I travel from Rostov-on-Don to Moscow for classes. That’s a day-long train journey each way. And I am the happiest person alive. I am living my dream!
