Born and brought up in a family of academicians and artists the inclination towards arts happened at a very early age. Association with theatre happened since 2010 from her hometown Calcutta with the eminent Bengali theatrician Bratya Basu. After moving to Bombay in 2013 got actively involved with many theatre productions directed by the stalwarts Manav Kaul, Makarand Deshpande and many more.
The first appearance on the national platform happened with stories by Rabindranath Tagore directed by Anurag Basu, as the protagonist of one of the episodes.

The debut film Tikli and Laxmi Bomb which garnered a lot of appreciation and got her the Best Actress award at the New jersey indian international film festival, Best debutante at the Jaipur International Film Festival, is successfully streaming on Netflix.
The other projects such as Totta Pataaka Item Maal (on Netflix), Pagla Ghodha- a cineplay adaptation of Badal Sarkar’s famous play- (Hotstar), Chokher Bali– a cineplay adaptation of Tagore’s popular novella (Tatasky) and Ahare Mon (hoichoi.tv)-her last Bengali theatrical release- are all available on different OTT platforms.
Her next project Devi aur Hero, won the NETPAC award at the 25th Kolkata International Film Festival 2019.
Her last release was a bilingual web series Kark Rogue/Karkat Rogue which is based on a popular Bengali medical thriller novel is streaming on Zee 5 premium.
She also wears the hat of a designer and fashion entrepreneur since she started her own upcycled label Candy’d Closet in 2019 along with being a photographer (goes by the name Candy’d Box).
