A 60-year-old man with a chainsaw returns to the burnt forest where he last met his brother, in order to deal with his own guilt.

GIL PELED

Born in 1998 and raised in Haifa. Studied music in Reut school. Before his studies at Sam Spiegel Film School, during which he shot several short films, Gil directed various music videos for local independent artists, as well as international projects for Alex Clare and Universal Music. “Pines” is his first directorial effort in a narrative film.
