Set in a dreamlike, colorful, precious and imaginative world, the script tells the story of the magical life of Thimea, a girl who works in a flower shop and that until then,her life has been marked by her difficult childhood in an orphanage.
As a child, in that place of confinement and loneliness, Thimea discovers an artwork that will changeher life forever. The colors, the light, the joy of a painting that will have a healing power over her.
SUSANA FIALHO MOTA
Susana Fialho Mota, born in Lugo (Galicia) of Portuguese origin. She trained as an actressat Colegi del Teatre (Barcelona) and at William Laytonʼs Theatre Laboratory (Madrid).
She started working in theatre when she was only 16 years old and at the age of 18, she formally enrolled in these two schools of Dramatic Art, which are among the most important and prestigious in Spain. At the end of her studies, she began to work in TV series and theatre at the same time that she made her debut in Cinema with Albert Boadella, a renowned theatre director who was carrying out a daring cinematographic project with his theatre group (Els Lloglars). Soon after, she would work again with another well-known director, Sigfrid Monleòn, in a film about the poet and writer Jaime Gil de Biedma. A choral fi lm in which Susana would play an important role.
While continuing her career as an actress, she debuts as a director in this short fi lm created by her. She writes and directs this 15-minute piece that is so personal and intimate. She skillfully creates her cinematographic universe, creating a poetic and enveloping atmosphere. The lights and shadows of the human being sharpen the senses of this creator and she explores her characters psychologically, enveloping them in a precious frame of a great visual level and thus creating a different artistic cinematographic work.
