DIRECTOR´S NOTE
This film interweaves the destinies of two girls who lead entirely different lives to illustrate the plight of individual characters.
San, judged by society for her look; Yu Liu, who longs for love from her family and whose beauty only led to misfortune; Ping, who clings to unrealistic dreams and desperately seeks to change her life; and Dong, born with an incurable disease. In the relentless torrents of fate, each of them strive to alter their circumstances.
Lost Girl seeks to depict the isolation and vulnerability of individuals within the fabric of society, and how we can sometimes be blinded by our own restrictive perspectives.
