The pain for the death of my parents and the frustration of not having felt heard in my beloved family of origin -of a patriarchal nature-, leads me to identify with Dulcinea del Toboso, a character who, belonging to the most important novel in the world, he is not given a chance to express a single thought.

VALLE HIDALGO

Valle Hidalgo is a PhD candidate in Literary Studies at UCM, a Master’s in Literary Translation at UCM, a graduate in Psychology at UCM and Dramatic Art at RESAD. Higher studies in Cultural Management and Gender Perspective UCM, and Film Script UAM.

Member of the Board of Directors of the Platform for New Filmmakers. Producer, scriptwriter and director of the first-person documentary short film Dulcinea en duelo, released on September 23, 2022, which has received a Project Production Grant from the Castilla-La Mancha Ministry of Culture and has obtained the Specially Recommended distinction for the promotion of gender equality of the Ministry of Culture-ICAA. Producer, actress and screenwriter and/or director of the short films: El Matutero (2002), El último veraneo (2004), ¿Cuánto falta? (2006) and A Good Wife (2012).
