Soustav Naskar, a location sound recorder and designer based in Bombay. I have studied at the Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute in Kolkata. I am interested in capturing and moulding sounds that bring stories to life and add depth to cinematic narratives. My work spans films and ads across genres, and I’m currently exploring AI and tech innovations that have the potential to push boundaries in sound design, immersive ambience, performance, and the interplay of audio and visual in storytelling.

Acclaimed Composer of Atom Egoyan, Mira Nair, nominated at Imagineindia 2025
An acclaimed composer with a distinctive voice in contemporary film scoring, Mychael Danna is known for his masterful fusion of non-Western musical traditions with orchestral and electronic textures. A graduate of the University of Toronto, he began his career as a composer-in-residence at the McLaughlin Planetarium, where he developed his unique sensibility for blending world music with cinematic storytelling.
Danna made his feature film debut with Family Viewing (1987), directed by Atom Egoyan, marking the beginning of a long and celebrated collaboration. His early work on films such as Exotica, The Sweet Hereafter, and Felicia’s Journey earned him widespread recognition for his atmospheric and emotionally resonant scores.

Anjali Monteiro is a former Professor from the School of Media and Cultural Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She is involved in documentary production, media teaching and research. She played a key role, along with her colleague and partner, Prof. K.P. Jayasankar, in setting up of the MA and Ph.D. programmes in Media and Cultural Studies at TISS, the first of its kind in India and has done pioneering and innovative work in critical media education in India. In recognition of their contribution, the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad conferred the Prof. Satish Bahadur Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Contribution to Film Education on them, at the 6th Alpavirama — International Youth Film Festival, in November 2022.

United States. She comes from a prominent filmmaking family: her
mother, Haydeh Safiyari, is an internationally acclaimed editor
with two Oscar-winning films and a member of the Academy of
Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, while her father, Mohsen
Abdolvahab, is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and
screenwriter recognized with honors such as the Silver Wolf Award
at Amsterdam and the Asia Pacific Screen Award.
Ana Vico, Jury for Best Short Film at Imagineindia
Ana Vico was born in Huelma, a small town in Andalucía (Spain). At 18, she moved to Madrid to study Audiovisual Communication at the Complutense University. Very interested in intimate cinema, she shot a couple of short films of this style with her group of friends from college, both with a very limited budget. After finishing her degree, she began the Directing Diploma at ECAM to continue learning and developing her films. “Un amor” is her Diploma Graduation short film, which was selected at this festival, Imagine India International Film Festival.

Félix started his career as a filmmaker with comedies like Perdona Bonita, but Lucas wanted me or El Grito en el cielo and his first television series, the sit-com Quitate tú pa ́ ponme yo, for Telecinco. He combines his film career with his line of work in television for which he has written and directed, in addition to many entertainment formats, many other fiction products such as the series Mujeres, produced by the Almodóvar factory for TVE and also sold to RAI. He also owes the third title of his filmography, Descongélate, to the Almodóvar brothers.

Gulzar (born Sampooran Singh Kalra; 18 August 1934) is an Indian Urdu poet, lyricist, author, screenwriter, and film director known for his works in Hindi cinema. He is regarded as one of greatest Urdu poets of this era. He started his career with music director S.D. Burman as a lyricist in the 1963 film Bandini and worked with many music directors including R. D. Burman, Salil Chowdhury, Vishal Bhardwaj and A. R. Rahman. Gulzar also writes poetry, dialogues and scripts. He directed films such as Aandhi and Mausam during the 1970s and the TV series Mirza Ghalib in the 1980s. He also directed Kirdaar in 1993.

She has directed across feature films, TV drama, as well as commercials and most recently several VR films.
