Eva Díaz Iglesias, Jury at Imagineindia

Eva Díaz Iglesias is an outstanding DOP with a solid and extensive career in the audiovisual field since 1990. Her career covers film, television and documentaries, in projects of great artistic and industrial relevance, with some of the most recognized directors and directors of photography on the national and international scene.

Trained through solid technical experience, Eva Díaz has worked in 35 mm, Super 16, HD and digital, playing different roles – from assistant and camera assistant, to operator and director of photography – in productions directed by filmmakers such as Carlos Saura, Alejandro Amenábar, Vicente Aranda, Fernando Colomo…

In feature films, she has directed the photography of numerous films in recent years, with titles such as Rita (Paz Vega), El amor de Andrea (Manuel Martín Cuenca), Los Mediterráneos, Selfie and Vaya Vacaciones (Víctor García León), as well as Dioses y Perros and Los Commensales; several of them awarded at festivals such as Malaga or Tallinn, at the Goya Awards and the Carmen Awards, and at the Medals of the Circle of Cinematographic Writers.

On television, she has been director of photography in impact series such as Venga Juan, Vamos Juan, El Vecino, Animal (Netflix) and has participated as a camera operator in international hits such as La Casa de Papel and Vis a Vis. His experience also includes second units and specific chapters of high-profile series.

In the field of documentary, she has developed a committed authorial view, as director of photography in titles such as Disconnected, Murales and Sin bandadas en la memoria, as well as her work as co-director of Shakti, el poder de las mujeres, presented and selected at important festivals.

Her career reflects a mature, versatile and deeply cinematic look, which consolidates her as one of the most experienced and respected professionals in photography direction in Spain.
