Filiz came to present the film Whispering Walls (Eylem Kaftan) Turkey, along with Angela Dogancay who participates in the film.

With over 25 years of experience in the media industry, Filiz Zengin is an accomplished media professional currently serving as Channel Coordinator at tv4 since January 2022. Prior to this role, she spent a decade at 24 TV in positions including International Programming Manager, Team Leader, and Cinema Editor, where she helped shape diverse and engaging content for broad audiences.
A graduate of Istanbul University, Filiz began her media career at NTV, conducting in-depth interviews with international musicians, artists, and directors. Her interest in global media led her to live and study in London and New York, where she earned a degree in Media Arts and Technology. While abroad, she gained hands-on experience as an Assistant Producer at WABC-TV/Eyewitness News and produced educational videos for children with autism.

Specializing in documentary and program production, Filiz has served on juries at several national festivals and at prominent international competitions, including the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards. She is currently the art director of Whispering Walls, an art documentary that is making the festival circuit.
Passionate about storytelling on critical social issues—women’s and children’s rights, war, climate change, and existential themes—Filiz also writes a column for Star Newspaper where she highlights art-house documentaries tackling these topics.
Based in Istanbul, she continues to drive creative projects that combine practical expertise with heartfelt advocacy.
