Naim Kanat, nominated for Best Editing at Imagineindia 2025

He has been nominated for Best Editing for the film When the Wanut Leaves Turn Yellow (Mehmet Ali Konar) Turkey.

Naim Kanat is a Kurdish-Turkish Film Editor, born in 1986, in Turkey. He currently based in Istanbul-Turkey. Graduated from Trakya University, Department of Radio-TV in 2008. Since 2011, He has been working on Commercial, Trailer and Feature Film editing. He also teaches various courses and academic studies on film editing. The films he edited were shown at the world’s leading film festivals.
